Ebony has a distinguished career working in various industries in diversity and
inclusion, human resources and learning & development for over 20 years!
Ebony was a Diversity & Inclusion leader in the Commercial Real Estate industry where she created Executive learning and development programs with primary focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. She also has extensive experience leading employee resource groups and creating governance structures for overall success. Ebony has a strong passion for developing others and is known for her work leading diversity & inclusion programs at corporate levels, implementing on onboarding programs for field leadership roles, and developing robust DE&I and HR strategies.
She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management, National
Association of African Americans in Human Resources and the Texas Diversity
Council. She is also a Board of Director for The Black Mom Collective. Ebony holds
an BA and an HR Certification from University of Phoenix and a Certification in
Diversity and Inclusion from Yale School of Management.
Shante’ has been an HR professional for 20+ years. She has worked in various industries to include healthcare, insurance and commercial real estate. Her expertise in HR spans from Talent Acquisition, to Business Partnering, to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
Throughout her successful career, she has been able to establish herself as a credible advisor to all levels of employees from Executives to entry level staff. Shante' has extensive experience leading ERGs. Diversity and Inclusion has always been a segment of every role she has held. One of her strengths is her ability to build and maintain relationships.
She is a proud INROADS alum and always recognizes the organization for giving her the opportunity to intern in Human Resources where she has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the field. Shante' earned a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in Human Service Administration from Springfield College. She currently holds Executive board seats with Orange Arrow Players Association and AAREP Atlanta. Shante' obtained her Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business in May 2020.
Garland is a hyper-connector, inclusion & equity strategist and leadership business partner with a demonstrated history of working in a variety of environments: professional services, start up, and agency environments.
In addition, she works extensively with a variety of universities, professional development trade organizations, employee resource groups and community leaders to build bridges and impactful partnerships. Her mission is to solve problems by increasing the number of seats at the table and by broadening the makeup of the people who occupy those seats. By doing this, she believes all interests can be met and all parties can win.
Garland is also the creator and host of “Full Circle with Garland,” a weekly podcast where she dives into career conversations with diverse entrepreneurs, executives and thought leaders who share her interest in greater social impact, true inclusion, and sustainable wealth building.
She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in American Studies and a MS in HR Development.
